Standards for the protection of minors

On 16.09.2024, by Order of Director No 021.23.2024, standards of protection of minors were introduced at the Institute of Systematics and Evolution of Animals of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The document is intended to provide minors who use the resources and services of ISEZ PAS, a safe environment, organised with respect for their rights and dignity.

ISEZ PAS provides children and young people with free access to educational and cultural offer in a safe and comfortable way, free from threats and inappropriate behaviour, in particular free from any form of violence and discrimination.

Standards for the protection of minors in ISEZ PAN lay down intervention procedures, preventive, educational actions, rules for preventing harm to minors and, where harm has been done, lay down rules for reducing the size of its effects through proper and effective assistance to minors and indicates the responsibility of persons employed in ISEZ PAS for the safety of minors using the services of the Institute.

The person responsible for monitoring the implementation of the standards of minors in ISEZ PAS is the Protection Officer in ISEZ PAS.
