These principles guarantee compliance with values such as transparency of the recruitment process and equal treatment of all candidates, taking into particular consideration the development of the European labour market for scientists.
The Institute of Animal Systematics and Evolution of the PolishAcademy of Sciences, endorsementing and adopting the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers, is constantly making efforts to ensure that the provided conditions for conducting scientific research are consistent with the quality measures required by European standards comprised in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. Being awarded the distinction opens up the opportunity to apply for financial support for scientific projects in Polish and European competitions, which is already bear fruit in the form of granted projects, including the ERC and Polonez Bis grants.
Appointed as part of the Human Resources Excellence in Research award, the Team for the implementation of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers at ISEA PAS, constantly evaluates solutions and possibilities, adapting them to the rules currently in force in the European scientific community and the needs of its employees and potential future applicants.
