The scientific career of Władysław Kulczyński was mostly connected with our institution. Scientific Secretary of the Physiographical Comission (1879-1919), custodian (since 1896) and head (1906-1919) of the Physiographical Museum of the Academy of Sciences and Letters.

1884 Correspondent Member of the Academy of Sciences and Letters in Kraków; 1912 its Full Member.

Since 1890 onward, Person Number One worldwide of the "Golden Age of Arachnology".
