• Diversity and interactions of springtails (Collembola) with their environment; impact of environmental factors, human activity and climate changes on soil fauna diversity.

• Phylogeny of Neanurinae and Onychiurinae (Collembola).
• Taxonomy and phylogeography of springtails (Collembola) of the Carpathians and Sudetes.
• Springtails (Collembola) of peat-bogs: biological and genetic diversity under the influence of environmental factors.
• Synopses on Palearctic Collembola. Oligaphorurini and Hymenaphorurini (Cooperation: I. Kaprus' (Ukraine) and W. Weiner).
• Morphological and genetic diversity within the Protaphorura armata species-group (Collembola: Onychiuridae).
